Hello!

I am an American artist and advertiser living in Amsterdam. I have been working in marketing in a broad capacity for ten years.

Currently, I am working as a freelancer. I provide brand support for a local business in Amsterdam, and social media and advertising support for a tattoo artist.

Previously, I have managed marketing teams at several non-profits. Some of the work my teams and I have handled included creating new brand identities and managing social media accounts.

I also started and operated a music label and event promotion company in the US. There, I developed a unique design-style, managed artists, and taught myself to direct long term artistic projects.

In my free time, I am a DJ, I play tabletop games, and I like to watch old movies. I read mysteries, science fiction, and classic novels.

Some of my favorite copy I’ve ever written is my work on the mission, vision, and value statements above and below here. It’s short and impactful.

Below here are some more examples of web copy. In addition to writing copy for this website, I also wrote their newsletters and announcements for AZ Humane Society.

design

Above are three examples of physical objects I created. These were sold or distributed for free as merchandise for my company Grid Search. On the left, there is a tape created for the Runway project. The inner label is made of basketball material. The labels are inspired by brands like Maison Margiela and Nike. The middle object is a chapstick with a unique set of horoscopes written on the sides. The final is another tape, inspired by the pink Glossier packaging. Below are some of my favorite posters I created:

The design elements for Grid Search were taking from banal, cold, and overall, impersonal branding, and making them sexier and more human.

projects

'Kiiss' is a tattoo artist living and working in Amsterdam. I have been directing and producing her content with her help. With one year of my help, she has grown over tweleve thousand followers and created a strong pool of clients in Amsterdam.

In addition to directing and producing the content, we generated ideas and wrote the videos together, I edited them and she posted them and managed the page. Her series of videos teaching tattooing techniques regularly gained her hundreds of thousands of views and gained her sponsorships.

One of my favorite projects I have worked on was the “Runway” album release during my time running Grid Search. The project included writing and producing an album, printing it and creating packaging, promoting it and planning a tour. I provided the art direction and creative lead on the project, choosing the direction to take the project, designing the packaging and directing the photoshoot and the music video.
